Georgia Power’s Learning Power program, through our 16 statewide Education Coordinators, delivers hands-on, STEM-based, interactive lessons, at all grade levels, Pre-K through Grade 12. The lessons reinforce specific grade level Georgia Standards of Excellence, primarily in science and math. The Learning Power program kicked-off in August of 2011. To date, the program has reached over 650,000 students across the state.
High School lessons available are:
• Economics (personal finances of energy)
• Nuclear Energy (fission and fusion)
• Environmental (sustainability of fuel resources)
